1l petka bought at the brewery. Hazy dark brown colour, tiny beige head. Aroma of smoked malt. Full-bodied, intensive malty base with good smoke flavours, hints of caramel, toffee, roasted malts and some shy hopy in the finish. The beer is intensively smokey, I would classify it as a smoked. Smooth and creamy texture, probably due to the fine carbonation.
A smoked beer disguised as 18° special - what a lovely surprise from Beroun! kappldav123 (6097) - GERMANY - OCT 23, 2012
Big thanks to quack-duck for that one. 1l PET bottle. Looks interesting. Beer in the glass deep black, nice head. Sourish aroma. Starts strong, intense malty and quite fruity like beeries. Modest sourish. Reminds me in some ways of a good red wine. Well balanced fruity finish. Interesting beer! Holmen1 (5838) - Stavanger, NORWAY - DEC 26, 2014
Time will show. Holmen2 (3567) - NORWAY - DEC 26, 2014
1 litre plastic bottle shared with JMD at HNB 26.12.14. Ebony. Pale brown head. Moderate aroma. Dark chocolate and coffee.in taste. Quite dry with light mouthfeel. Good drinkability. One of the better examples of this style. vickey9 (999) - Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 27, 2016

Full bodied strong stuff! One can say a bit sweet but it is a tax for strong ABV. A character of this beer if giving you a suggestion to look for a stronger type of cheese. [email protected]

dark brown, malty but restrained nose. Very malty mouth with excellent toffee, some cherries and coffee notes. Very nice lingering toffee, chocolate and coffee finish. Nose is mundane but ends well Rune (12587) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 9, 2016
330ml swing-top bottle, 8.5 % abv, bought at Bond Cafe in Prague. A big shot followed by smoke when opened. Deep, dark brown body. Fawn-coloured head. Dark malty smell with a touch of black chocolate. Malty flavours of liquorice, bread, and dark chocolate, hint of dried fruits. Roasted bitter ending. Hidden alcohol. Nice. Lahev (diky, Quack-Ducku!): Deep, very deep amber coloured, presumably hazy, sweetish toasty-caramelly nose, a tinge of molasses and vinous fruits underneath; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; chalk in the robust sweetish-roasty finish, followed by a lingering and balancing bitter-malty finish. Good... Gurthnar (5810) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - NOV 22, 2012
On tap at Richtar Jakub. Huge beige head. Almost black colour. Aroma fruity, honey. Taste light roasted, very light coffee, a bit watery and dull considering ABV. Light fruity acidic. Finish fruity, bit earthy earthy tart. Good.
