Plastice bottle at bus - RBESG. Dark brown - offwhite head. Licorice, chocolate, high malty, sweetness, burned, roasted, light sweetness, caramel, grainy, light hoppy. OK.

Keg at the Brewpub in Beroun Day 4 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 2/10/14. Aroma is big blue cheese and cured meats, roast and dung, earthy. Clear mahogany brown / ruby red coloured pour with a fleeting cream head. Flavour is tangy earthy dirt, straw, harsh roast, cow pat. Autolysis maybe? Palate is tangy, medium body, moderate varbonation. Somewhat infected.

Christian (13927) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 11, 2008
Brown with a lasting off-white head. Malty aroma of caramel, toffee. Rich malty flavour with notes of licorice and a hint of hops

Bottle in the bus @ RBESG.
Pours deep brown with a medium, creamy, beige head. Stays a long time as a thin film. Aroma has a touch of ashes, good chocolate and lightly roasted malts. Not too sweet. Low carbonation, okay mouthfeel, just bordering on being too thin. Flavour is pleasantly roasted with some peppery notes. Very drinkable.

Not sure it’s the same since it was called 4% ABV

Dark brownish red color, hard to see if clear or not, tan head. Yeasty and sweet scent. Roasted sweet taste. MEdium to moussy mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

pivnizub (10905) - Bochum, GERMANY - OCT 6, 2007
On tap in Beraun: Chestnut-amber coloured, mid-sized, quite stable sandy head, shy dark-malty, caramelly aroma with the faintest traces of burnt malt, moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, traces of coffee in the shy sweetish finisk. O.K., not bad.........

KimJohansen (10498) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - AUG 28, 2008
Hazy dark brown with tiny beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and coffee notes. Flavor is sweet and has hints of coffee, caramel roasted malt and chocolate.

gunnar (9921) - Sandnes, NORWAY - MAR 19, 2010
On tap @ the brewpub. Pours black like a Coke, with a big off-white head. Caramelly aroma. Taste is full of sweet creme brule, too much for my likings. Almost no bitterness to balance it, makes it difficult to appreciate.

Quack-Duck (9540) - Down South, GERMANY - MAY 23, 2007
Great smell of caramel and roast malt. Not malty-sweet, rather dry. Flavours of caramel and chocolate.
