asheft (3108) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 29, 2008
[bottle] Apple, ethanol, and nuts in the aroma. Murky brown-black with a tan ring. Nice, toasty-roasty biscuit flavour with good hops bitterness that makes it crisp and clean. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, bitter lasts for a bit.

motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 9, 2002
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2012 this was a weird brewery to stumble upon, inside an abandoned factory lot. this tmave was the first beer we tried there and was a real treat to the eyes. pitch black with a lasting head. remarkably well-balanced. very full hops and lasting bitterness comes just at the right time when the full vegemite maltiness threatens to become too much. not far from prague for those considering a beer trip there. re-rate - this has gone way downhill

From a PET bottle, sampled at a RBESG08 bus trip. Brown with a medium beige head. Chocolate malt aroma with some fudge, liquorice, and dusty hops. Quite dry with moderate bitterness.

On tap in Beraun: Chestnut-amber coloured, mid-sized, quite stable sandy head, shy dark-malty, caramelly aroma with the faintest traces of burnt malt, moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, traces of coffee in the shy sweetish finisk. O.K., not bad.........

Gurthnar (6173) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - OCT 8, 2012
On tap Hostinec Richtar Jakub. Aroma blue cheese, caramel, roasted. Taste light cheesy, almost medium fruity caramel sweet, medium roasty bitter, chewy coffee. Nice full finish. Probably best from this brewery I had so far.
