On tap at Beer Rev.
Aroma is slightly malty with some cracker and biscuit character. Moderate hop notes of citrus and tropical fruit with a moderate stone fruit character. Balanced pine resin.
Pours a slightly cloudy, golden orange with a small, thick white head. Moderate lacing and medium light legs.
Flavor is similar with a medium light malt character and some light sweetness. Moderate hop character with medium strong bitterness. Some light alcohol notes. Moderate citrus notes with some orange and lighter tropical fruit notes.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Low astringency and medium low to low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a nice, balanced West Coast IPA with a decent hop character bit nothing special. slowrunner77 (12144) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 29, 2014
UPDATED: MAR 15, 2017 "Very nice showing from a relative unknown. Huge pine sap hop aroma with a hint of dank weedy hops and honey sweetness. So hoppy the abv is irrelevant. Nuce brew!"

Pours a half finger of head on a hazy straw colored body.
The aroma is malty and grapefruit.
The taste is an interesting, but good mixture of pineapple, pine and grapefruit bitterness. It has a long strong bitter finish.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
It’s a pretty great IPA. Dogbrick (13144) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 27, 2014
Sample at Mikkeller Bar SF. Amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and roast malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of hops, grapefruit and sweet malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around. rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 15, 2014

A- pours a deep orangey hue with a chunky, off white head.
S- hop forward, pine, sweet malty scent
T - lots of pine up front rounded out by caramel notes and a lingering residual bitterness.
M - fairly thick and slightly less carbonated than I would have liked.
D - very impressive brew from a brewery that is new to me. Will definitely have to seek out more of their beer. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 9, 2014

>> Thanks brokensail for the share. Clear golden orange pour, good foam. Nose is sticky candies, vegetal, sweet potatoes. Taste is dusty, papery, gristy grain and whole wheat bread crust. Harsh palate, cracker, super dry papery. Eh.
>!< paper, dusty, vegetal, overly dry
Had a firkin for Sac Beer Week... Fruity, pine hop notes, flavor is citrusy yet dry, really enjoyable beer

On tap at Zeitgeist, pours a hazy golden with a medium creamy off-white head. Aroma brings out notes of pine, floral hops, and crackery, biscuity malt. Flavour is very fruity and piney, with notes of light fruity notes, piney and floral hops, and some zesty notes. Wonderfully balanced and brewed IIPA, with a nice astringent, zesty finish. Excellent IIPA. cjnuxoll (13) - - DEC 12, 2013
An amazing blend of pine, citrus and hops to create a layered and complex flavor array
