Draught at Bicycle cafe SF. Amber color, white head. Bitter taste with grapefruit, hops, pine, a bit of resin and fruits. Bitter finish with grapefruit, hops, pine, cardboard and grass. Decent IPA, but not for me.

Tap at Harry’s Hofbrau. Overt orange and solid cracker backbone. Hazy orange with off white head. Citrus and moderate piney flavor.

Standard ipa. Nice enough fresh with fruit and pine slightly forward. I preferred multiple session and imperials to this one, though.

Pours orange, white head, ring lacing. Mild nose for the style, some floral, citrus rind. Flavor is great, caramel malt and orange-y hops. A nice level of sweetness, more than usual (fpr the style). Overall a rock solid west coast IPA. Flavors aren’t as huge as some, but it’s clean finishing and dangerously sessionable.

Well this beer is very mild for an IPA if you ask me. Aroma is faint, color is a fairly clear copper, and a rather mild hop flavor. It’s drinkable but not memorable.

Drank in Denver for GABF 2012. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big nose of citrus and caramel. Very smooth, well-balanced, citrus, loads of oranges, dry caramel and balance from the malt. Good. Clean.

On tap at the Davis Brewfest. Pours cloudy amber with a rich beige head and a citrus aroma. There is a delicious caramel malt flavor with subtle hop bitterness. Very tasty.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy orange amber with a creamy off-white head. Some ring lacing with time. Citrus aroma. Med body. Flavor seems very citrus and clean over an interestingly roasted malt. Finishes nicely, very bitter with maybe a touch of unusual floral. Nice drink.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2012 16 oz sample on tap at the Davis Beer Shoppe. Herbal, somewhat oniony and piney hop aroma. I?m not a big fan of the oniony hop character from the likely Summit hops used in this beer. Unfiltered moderately hazy copper-orange colored body with a creamy, off-yellowish head and good lacing. Starts with plenty of resiny citrus orange flavors. Has a good deal of mildly sugary maltiness in the middle. Finishes with piney and oniony hop bitterness. Nicely balanced beer, but as mentioned earlier, I am not a big fan of the hop profile.©©©©©©©rerate©©©©©©© this beer has lost the onion, and is now mostly citrus and dank. Great balance. Great IPA.
