Part of the sampler from the brewery just outside of Winters. Pours a copper color with orange being the dominant flavor. A little too much piney hope for my taste.

Draft. It pours a pale golden yellow color with a light haze and a white head. The aroma has bright citrusy lemon and grapefruit. The flavor is bready with some crackers, light grapefruit, a little tangerine with some medium/strong floral bitterness. Good . DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - AUG 20, 2013

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber with a creamy white head. Citrus aroma. Med body. Flavor is burning citrus over a strong caramel backbone. Malt less roasty than expected. Finishes quite bitter. Moderately strong flavors. Nice. DYCSoccer17 (3703) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 17, 2013
Pint on tap at the brewery. The aroma has a nice dank hoppiness, as well as some citrus grapefruit and orange notes. Nicely aromatic! Virtually transparent copper-colored body with a medium off-white head. Starts with a harshly bitter, earthy hop flavor. Becomes rather thin in the middle. Finishes pretty dry and quite bitter. Not sure which hops were used, but it’s not my preference in this style of beer.
