On tap @ Hogs Apothecary. Golden orange beer with white foam. Big time stone fruit sweetness with apricot and peach notes. There’s some strong pine, caramel, and potpourri. A decent bit of citrus such as orange and grapefruit. Has a fair bit of bitterness to go along with what is a fairly sweet beer. joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 6, 2016
On tap at Hog’s Apothecary. It pours a golden color with an off white head. The aroma is strong with honey, florals and some stone fruit. Pretty strong maltiness in the background. The flavor is thick and rather malty with strong floral, piney and lightly fruity hops. Full bodied with strong floral/piney bitter finish. Well made, but a bit too thick and malty for my tastes. "Same abv as thir BW, the only other beer I’ve had from them. This one was better. Solid, if nowhere near a standout in a loaded catergory. Medium bodied, slightly sweet with a decent dose of grapefruit and pine. I’d try again. 2014- much better. Huge hops, thick sweet and bitter."

Hazy light orange with a white head. Pineapple, citrus, some malt and light notes of caramel. Also weak notes of hay. A solid bitterness in this one.

On tap at the brewpub several weeks ago. The aroma is quite hoppy with citrus tropical character, and some grapefruit. Light sweetness. No ethanol detected. Moderately hazy orange-golden body with a large, creamy off-yellow head and great lacing. Starts sweet, chewy, and piney. Some citrus grapefruit hop flavors come through in the middle. Nice balance of malts and hops. Tropical mango flavors come through in the finish. Ethanol is extremely well-hidden. Well-balanced. anders37 (27903) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAR 18, 2013
Draft @ 13th Bistro Double IPA Festival, Hayward, CA. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Has a fruit malty piney hoppy grapefruit aroma with peachy hints. On tap at Bistro DIPA Fest poured a hazy gold with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, lemon zest, grapefruit and pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finisah. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, lemon zest, orange zest and grapefruit with a crisp dry bitter lingering citrus finish. bhensonb (16137) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Tap at Capitol Beer. Pours hazy light orange with a creamy off-white head that did a little lacing. Aroma made me think of pineapple. Med body. Flavor seems to be citrus and tropical fruit. Certainly on the bitter side. Finishes fresh and fruity. And bitter. Very tasty and drinkable.
