A Hefeweizen brewed in the American style with a refreshing kick. This easy drinking Hef is a lighter style American Hef with an added touch, the touch of orange. Carefully blended a hint of orange with an American Hefeweizen to produce this light easy drinking ale, perfect match for when you looking for something to satisfy your palate without being overly sweet or overbearing.

Ungstrup (37676) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 23, 2006
An unclear orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of mandarin, while the flavor is sweet and very carbonated with notes of wheat and mandarin. Reminds me of a mandarin sodapop, both because of the flavor and the high carbonisation level.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 21, 2006
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a hazy pilsener golden with basically no head. Lightly fruity aroma. Light-bodied - almost watery. Distinct mandarin aroma albeit rather artificial. Dry finish. More extraordinary than really well made. 200606

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2015 One of my favorite summertime beers of all time. Orange tint and mandarin orange flavor. I was sad to see this one go. 4.8 Rated 7/4/04

From 2010 file notes. 6 pack from Valley Wine Company in Davis, CA. Orangey wheat beer. Not to my taste.

Tmoney99 (14497) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 17, 2005
Bottle. Poured with a small white head that diminshed quickly over a light amber color. Aroma was moderate hops with a citrus tone. The flavor was a light sweet with a short light sweet finish. Brewed as a light beer alternative.

argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 25, 2004
Opaque golden topped by small white head and filled with many bubbles. Aroma is sweet mandarin orange, some wheat. Taste is mild sweet, even a bit sour, orange, lemon, wheat. Light body with minimal crispness. I suppose it achieves what it set out to do, but the combination doesn’t work for me.

Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 13, 2004
Hazy blonde with wheat aroma. intense synthetic orange aftertaste. Light bodied. soso fruit ale. (July 31 at Indiana Microbrewers Festival)

Dogbrick (13027) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 3, 2004
This beer is a lightly cloudy golden-amber color with a minimal off-white head and very little lacing. The aroma is mild citrus and wheat. Light-bodied and bubbly, with a blend of citrus (orange of course), wheat and even some malt. The finish is crisp and sweet. All in all this beer is easy to drink and somewhat refreshing, albeit not at all complex.

hopdog (12584) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 5, 2005
Poured a medium and clear golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas and tastes of light oranges, some spices and maybe some wheat in there. Lightly sour with some malts. Thinner and lighter body.

hazy dark yellow, whispy fine white head, light sweet orange aroma, light malt flavor with lots of orange sweetness like an oranqe soda, touch of bitterness in the finish
-------- /> Date: 06/01/2005

orange dries out after a while loosing some of the sweetness but keeping the orange flavor, an improvment, but still weird
