Bottle @ home. Schiuma bianca abbastanza fine, abbastanza persistente. Mediamente corposa, abbastanza carbonata.Equilibrata ed armonica,

Col de mousse blanche bien compact, couleur orange, bulles fines. Arme trs fruit, beau mlange houblonn.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with lazing offwhite head. Aroma has light malt, light bread, biscuit, notes of straw, hay and fruity and spicy hints. Some yeast as well. Taste is semi-sweet light malty with biscuit, bread, straw, hay, slightly fruity and spicy. Finish is quite sweet and fruity with straw.

slightly opalescent golden colour, moderate sized, creamy head; aroma of grains, apple, maybe peach, too, some caramel and wine cellar-like notes; taste of grains, some fruitiness, yeasty and slight sourish notes; dry aftertaste; not among the best tripels, but still good to drink

I bought this bottle at Amstein and I drank it with one Italian friend, close to my flat yesterday. In my point of view, it is a good tripel, not that strong at the palate but it is well balanced. You have notes of malt, caramel, honey and sugar,a bit bitter, hop, easy to drink for the style. I was impressed with the color, a bit orange, yellow with a lot of yeast everywhere, in small pieces, nice for the eyes, simple and good.

330ml bottle bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Translucent golden honey colour with a thin layer of dirt-like yeast sediments; Explosive four finger head with crumpety white foam which lasts for 3 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with fizzy carbonation; Fragrant and sweet aroma of Pils malt, with strong pineapples, banana, jackfruits, candies, vanilla, tartness, strong floral, sugar, bread, strong Bel yeast, lemon and strong strawy grass; Medium sweet taste of Pils malt, with strong tartness, yellow fruits, strong floral, carbo, strong molasses, soggy bread, Bel yeast, lemon, fairly strong bitter hops and grass; Mid to full body. Quite slick palate; Mouth feel is fairly solid Pils maltyness in a slick and slightly oily background. Strong tartness with yellow fruits permeates. Floral and sweet sweetness dominates. Fairly yeasty with lemon to round. Simple but weird Hoppiness is strong floral, lemon and strong strawy grass in nose. Strong floral, lemon and grass in taste; Bitterness is quite strong for a lasting, mid to high astringent sweet-bitter malty finish; Fairly dry after taste. Candy sweet and quite bitter to mouth.

Comments: This is not quite the usual Tripel - the aroma is quite nice with full tropical fruit esters, but the taste is straightforwardly sweet as well as tart whre the hops isnt assertive enough. Drinkable but not as agreeable as most top dog Tripels cos its not the usual taste. Okay.

Bottle from Yamaya. Looked and smelled the goods, but I ended up with a lot of funk in the bottom of my glass. Fruity and slightly sweet, with hints of molasses and yeast. Lightish palate, booze neatly hidden. An easy drinker. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
