Cask, The Salmon, Leicester. Dark amber wutg an off white foam. Aromas are weetabix and chocolate malts with blackberry and raisins. Woody and earthy with toffee and some smoky notes. Flavours are toffee malts with dry, earthy hops and low lemon. Spritzy yeast with dry tea and a pithy bitterness. A decent bitter.

Fra cask på Hope & Anchor Bristol 30 Apr 17. Mørk amber. Filmskum. Aroma av buskvekster & bær. Smaken mandler & syrlig frukt. Grei men uvariert.

Cask, half pint, shared with Finn at Hope & Anchor. Hazy dark brown body. Bubbly ring to the rim of the surface. Clingy lacing. Dark doughy aromas. Taste of nuts, caramel, and marmalade. On the sweet side of a bittersweet finish. Just alright. (Bristol 30.04.2017).

Bottle on holiday in Lyme Regis. Bright clear amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has mild fine carbonation. Thin malts, a little bitter toffee. Mild dried fruits. Light crisp finish. Toffee lingers on. A toffee dominant bitter!

downender (9005) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 7, 2015
Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 6/10/2015. Deep amber in colour with a slight, off-white, head. Berry fruits, some sweetish bready malts, chocolate powder, a touch of leafy hop and moderately bitter finish. Good.

Bottle. My first from this brewery, bought at the Three Counties Show. Bronze with a small head. Lovely malty flavour merges with citrus producing a smooth and pleasant beer. Not so overpoweringly bitter as some and really worth trying.

Sigmund (8025) - Tau, NORWAY - APR 10, 2015
Cask pint at the Station Hotel, Gloucester. Reddish brown colour, small off-white head. Very moderate malty aroma, a hint of toffee. Smooth and malty flavour, but not sweet. Nutty notes, fairly decent hops in the finish. Pleasant to drink, and "very English".

Rob_D_UK (1366) - Madrid, SPAIN - OCT 15, 2014
From the bottle. Pours a reddish brown with a thin white head. Aroma is a sweet caramel and taste is a rounded bitter sweetness.

imdownthepub (15519) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 28, 2014
Cask conditioned at The Bespoke Brewery Tap, Mitcheldean, Gloucs. Reddish amber with white head. I got a tart fruitiness to this, some sour apricot on a fuller, malted body. Not my type of thing.

harrisoni (19535) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2014
Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2014. Clear copper amber. Some light milk chocolate. Some hedgerow. Decent condition. Quite likeable to be honest. Good best bitter. Chocolate and earthy hop. Some sour bitterness on the finish.

Pizd (435) - Merseyside, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2013
(Cask): Dark amber colour, white head. Aroma is just a big bomb of sweet fruity notes - particularly berries. Taste has a more subdued sweet fruit taste, slight malt notes, nuts and bread. Overall quite a nice session beer.
