Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruit, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a pale yellow with a slight haze and a lacing white head. The nose has a little fruit and a whiff of yeast. Medium body, sweet malt and some Belgian yeast. Ends dry. 080910

Tap @ In ’t Spinnekopke, Brussels. This is their "house beer", so naturally I had to try it. Pours a hazy, light orange body with a medium foamy white head. Aroma is extremely mild; it’s really hard to get anything out of this except hints of molasses and pale malts. Taste turns out to be much better and more decisive: plenty of grassy hops and lager maltiness, flanked by wit-like elements like citrus and hints of coriander. An original lager-wit hybrid, although the almost total lack of nose takes down the rating somewhat.

2010-08-09. Crisp dark yellow body with a large foamy white head that leaves thick lace on the glass. Sweet grainy pale malt in the aroma, lightly floral. 5+ Flavour is similar, sweet pale malt with grainy highlights. Average plus palate. Okay but quite dull. On tap at Spinnekopke, Brussels

Draught at In ’t Spinnekopke, Bruxelles
Hazy blond color. Discreet malt aroma. Too cold, anyway it seems to have no flavor.

Draft at In ’t Spinnekopke in Brussels. Golden-yellow with a substantial white head. Aroma of pale malt, grain, and yeast. Flavor more of the same with slight spices, citrus, and hops. Dry finish. Not bad, but this was Belgium so that wasn’t going to cut it. I demanded the beer list after this.

JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - JUL 22, 2009
Towering light-yellow head, dense, over golden beer with faint orange sheen. Milkripe grain, planetree leaf, faint hops, but mainly dusty nose. Faint bitterness, grain and hops, going towards toast/bread. Watercress, but sweet(ish). Light, but not empty, bit slick. Very creamy head, also texturewise. Harmless, and reasonably balanced beer; drinkable and forgetable.

Cloudy pale yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma is fruity with lots of banana, notes of minerals and grain. Dry and spicy flavour with a mineral feel
