Towering light-yellow head, dense, over golden beer with faint orange sheen. Milkripe grain, planetree leaf, faint hops, but mainly dusty nose. Faint bitterness, grain and hops, going towards toast/bread. Watercress, but sweet(ish). Light, but not empty, bit slick. Very creamy head, also texturewise. Harmless, and reasonably balanced beer; drinkable and forgetable. nickd717 (4886) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 24, 2009
Draft at In ’t Spinnekopke in Brussels. Golden-yellow with a substantial white head. Aroma of pale malt, grain, and yeast. Flavor more of the same with slight spices, citrus, and hops. Dry finish. Not bad, but this was Belgium so that wasn’t going to cut it. I demanded the beer list after this.

2010-08-09. Crisp dark yellow body with a large foamy white head that leaves thick lace on the glass. Sweet grainy pale malt in the aroma, lightly floral. 5+ Flavour is similar, sweet pale malt with grainy highlights. Average plus palate. Okay but quite dull. Tap @ In ’t Spinnekopke, Brussels. This is their "house beer", so naturally I had to try it. Pours a hazy, light orange body with a medium foamy white head. Aroma is extremely mild; it’s really hard to get anything out of this except hints of molasses and pale malts. Taste turns out to be much better and more decisive: plenty of grassy hops and lager maltiness, flanked by wit-like elements like citrus and hints of coriander. An original lager-wit hybrid, although the almost total lack of nose takes down the rating somewhat. yespr (47545) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - SEP 8, 2010
