Allentown. Pours a deep copper with a nice lingering white head. Aroma is clean pale malts, cracker, nuts, biscui and a grassy light citrus hoppy note. Flavor is grass, citrus, pine, lemon, light caramel malts, and toast with a grassy bitter finish. Ok.

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 14, 2010
On tap, Allentown location. Clear amber body with a small fizzy off-white head that faded quickly. The nose is a balance between citrusy hops and slightly sweet caramel malt. The hops are a bit more piney on the flavor with just a little caramel malt sweetness evening things out. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with nice soft moderate carbonation. Decent effort, gets a little grainy as it warms though.

Amber in color with a tan head. Aroma of hops and fruit. Flavor is balanced with a hops lean, citrus and other fruit, and grassiness.

Just like the Pig Pen, this pale ale missed the mark. It wasn’t hoppy enough and lacked a deep body. The nose had some hints of hops, earth, pine and bread, and the flavors did have some spiciness to it. But the finish featured too light of a body and not enough hops and malt.

hopdog (12420) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 24, 2008
On tap at the Allentown location. Poured a light to medium amber color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of citrus and caramel. Tastes of citrus, caramel, and lightly grainy.

On tap at Allentown Brew Works. Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a medium creamy/bubbly off white lacing head. Aroma of caramel, some citrus notes and a light breadiness. Flavor of light hops, caramel, light bitterness and something a little off that I couldn’t quite pinpoint.
