On tap at the Iron Pigs game. Clean crisp taste, mostly malt with a slight hint of hops in the finish. Not much there, but will please a crowd.

hopdog (13191) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 22, 2015
On tap at the Allentown location. Poured an amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Citrus and some caramel - subtle and somewhat on the thin side.

Lots of spices and smoothness to this lager. It has a wonderful mix and lots of alcohol. Good around the winter.

ryanscourt (1567) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 11, 2015
Crisp and refreshing, malty at the beginning. Would be Enjoyable with a burger

boxofrane (2559) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 28, 2014
Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear amber with a small white head that dissipates slowly. The aroma is slightly fruity but is mostly toasted malt. The taste has a biscuit note, a bit sweet, light.

Tap at brewery. Pours an orange, grapefruit color. Aromas are nil, mostly subtle citrus notes. Some malts, some citrus. Not impressed.

snoworsummer (6273) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 5, 2013
Draft at Allentown. Pours clear medium brown with a very thin head. Tastes like malt, dry hops, light syrupy sweetness. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like light malt and caramel.

sonnycheeba (6539) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 5, 2013
Tap at brewery. Pours clear amber with creamy, off-white head. Aroma is faint with subtle notes of caramel and cereal malts, earthy hops, and stone fruit. Flavor is dry, Vienna malts with light toast and faint hop bitterness; dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.

Meh - most of the beer I sampled at the Allentown location was good, but not great. This was no exception.

Just like the Knuckleball I tasted earlier in my recent visit to the Brew Works in Allentown, this amber lager was a big disappointment. It poured a copper color with absoutely no head. I got a bit of toasted malt and light hops in the aroma. But the flavors were very bland and light. This beer doesn’t really have all that much to offer. I tasted some toasted malt and very light hops in the body, along with a hint of bread.

Pours amber with a nice off white head. The aroma is caramel and berry fruit. The flavor is toasted with some caramel and a strong bitter burnt toast finish. I liked this one.
