Big fruit aroma. Bronze coloured fruity cherry flavour with a hint of dryness in an oak flavoured finish. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAR 5, 2011
(Draught at GABF) clearish orange with few bubbles. Nose of tart cherry, honey, rainier cherries and lactic. Taste is very acidic, maple, cherries, acetic and lactic. Awesome apple cider vinegar notes, and pipe tobacco. Very tart finish, a bit thin and uncarbonated. beerguy101 (5364) - Newark, California, USA - SEP 22, 2010
Sampled at GABF on 9/18/2010. This fruit beer/kriek pours a medium gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, cherry and tart. A medium bodied fruit beer/kriek. The malts are cherry and fruity, slightly tart. Slighlty funky. Nice carbonation. Good balanced. A nice American kriek. Mouthfeel si full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is fruity and tart.alobar (3970) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 20, 2010

A medium bodied kriek. The malts are fruity, tart and sweet. The cherries are semi sweet. Nice carbonation. Very smooth tasting. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly tart.
Super job on this. Funk aroma. Cherry flavor with funk aftertaste. Very well done!!! robertjm (904) - Albany, California, USA - FEB 9, 2010
(Sour Monday - Triple Rock) Bottled. Slight sour cherry-ness. Almost like a juice consistency. Very lightweight body. Red color. Just didn’t care for it.

OK, I really wanted to taste their cask conditioned peanut butter stout, but this was the funkiest that they had at the beer tasting. And funky it was, too. Great amber apricot color, not the brown or brownish red I expected from a kriek. Not as funky stinky as a lambic, but nicely sour, with a dry fruit offset, slighlt barnyard smell, good lambic finish. Lewis Thomas their brewer is very proud of the beer, and rightly so. But no one is allowed to like the smell of a lambic! fuchebu (146) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 16, 2002
They did a great job getting the cranky nuance of a Belgian kriek. both sweet and sour notes are prominent. Admiral (524) - Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 7, 2002
Good stuff. Sour cherry and Belgian funk predominate. Solid cloudy red/orange, rocky tan head.
