COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Originally brewed to replace the “Three Threads”, a mixture of the available beers of the time, Porters could be served in a more timely fashion for the busy dock workers that needed a quick refreshment. Brewed with both chocolate and roasted malts as well as Northern Brewer, East Kent Golding and Fuggle hops this beer remains true to form for Robust Porters.

This one was right next to their "Oatmeal Stout" and had a stronger aroma and flavor (chocolate / burnt). However, the body was thinner and I found this one a little more enjoyable.
