COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When creating the recipe for this beer, we bore in mind what one associates with oatmeal. Hence the base was laden with a bunch of oat flakes, roasted malts and roasted barley. The end result reflects this - intensive flavours, a coffee and dark chocolate aroma and a creamy texture. So we would not smother this, we added only as much hops as was needed to delicately balance the flavour.

Bottle.Black colour with off beige head.Aroma is roasted and malty with some cocoa nots mild coffee and caramel, mild and sweet mouth feels. This is a oatmeal stout and note just a stout,so people must rate it for what it is.

330 ml bottle. Almost black colour, small head quickly vanishing, low lacing, low carbonation. Nose is sweet roasted malt, liquorice, dark chocolate, very aromatic. Flavour is less sweet than in the nose, coffee with smoky notes, a bit watery. Rather short, again smoky finish. Aroma was promising, taste is a little bit disappointing. Not the best beer from Bevog.

33 cl. bottle at home. Low and quickly disappearing light brown head. Pitch black body. Smooth and creamy roasted malt coffee aroma. A bit watery and slightly bitter sour coffee hops caramel flavor with a low carbonation and a short finish.

Dark brown, almost black color. Chocolate and coffee aroma and taste. It’s alright, but I don’t quite like texture. It’s too watery for the style in my opinion. Despite that, it’s overall good stout.

I bought this bottle at beerlovers in Vienna, this winter, I drank it yesterday at Lausanne with my wife. I think that it is a really pleasant beer for the style, on the classical way. The body is a nice deep brown color, white and brown foam. The carbonation is regular for the style and the taste is well balanced during all the steps of your tasting, robust product for lovely time. My bottle was probably to cold, even though the aromas developping are delicious, roasted malt, good side of cacao, dark chocolate, at the final of your sips you can find a touch of liquor of vanilla, some hop, oat and malt not so sweet for the style, it seems to be more a classical stout, good job!!!!!

Bottle @ home... Pours a small beige head.. Nice pitch black colour... Smell oatmeal grains grassy. Taste oatmeal grain some bitter. Its a nice beer but quite subtle.
