Ond shows our love for smoked and dark beers. Strength-wise, it belongs to robust porters, which means it has a slightly higher alcohol level and a medium body. The smoked character is incorporated into the entire beer and does not obscure the combination of roasted malts that give it a chocolaty and caramely character. To top it all off, we have added a carefully selected combination of Slovene and American hops that together, in the form of a slightly herbal woody note, conclude the complexity of Ond.

Absolutely black colour like engine oil. Huge, creamy and long lasting head with perfect lacing. Awesome view! Intensive aroma of smoke, wood and coffee. Taste is rich and balance full of roasted note, coffee, smoked wood, and vanilla. Perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. Soft carbonation. Full body. Fantastic smoked porter! Must to try!

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2017 330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.3%, IBU 43. Very dark brown / nearly black colour, small beige head. Strong aroma of roast malts and smoked malts, notes of coffee, chocolate and bonfire. The flavour is fortunately not too dry (but not sweet either), slightly fruity, again with dominant notes of roast malts and smoked malts, also notes of coffee and dark bitter chocolate.

Bobson (99) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2017
Bottle shared by Thompson. Looks dark brown, almost black, and opaque with a very small beige head. Smell gives roasted coffee, smoked bacon and a slight hint of sweetness at the end. Taste brings lots of herbs, hops and some roasted malts. Is not as bitter as the smell would suggest. Overall, a very enjoyable beer that is suited for both colder and darker times as well as the beginning of spring.

bottle @ home... shared with Bobson. Poured a almost none existent brown/beige head. Very dark brown to black colour with brown edges. Smell of roasted coffee, smoke, salty smoked ham/bacon.. taste hops some bitter herbs smoked lacks the coffee that’s in the smell though. Its quite subtle on the bitterness. A nice balanced beer.
