COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Some great inventions and beers are made by random mistakes. So in the process of brewing another beer we accidentally pitched different yeast than we wanted, but we said let’s wait and see how it develops. We ended up with one very tasty triple which we loaded with hops in its dry-hopping stage and here it is; an incredibly smooth tripel with substantial modern hop presence. Our brewmaster Vasja said ”I was not sure whether to call it a Belgian double IPA or tripel, but somehow I feel that it is more of a tripel. However, it is a beer to enjoy and relax with. A perfect morning drink.”

Canned. Pours a cloudy golden beer with a medium sized white head on top. Aroma has sweet citrussy notes, some spicy and bready yeast, hint of tropical fruits as well. Flavor is medium bittersweet nice and grassy hoppy notes, light backbone of some Belgian styled yeast, some orange zesty notes in there as well. Nice in balance, full flavored and nice to drink. Fairly high in carbonation though but nice and full in aftertaste. Good stuff.

Can 0,33L. Courtesy of Kita. Hazy golden/orange color with small, frothy, white head that doesn’t lasts long. Aroma is on herbal/grass/pine/resin side, but there are some fruits in the background, too. Taste is very bitter with some grapefruit and similar fruits and long lasting aftertaste. Can’t really see it as a triple, it seems closer to imperial IPA or something like that.

At a tasting, thanks, big bubbly frothy head, light hazy deep golden yellow color, candy fruity citrus aroma with a hint of herbs, fruity candy flavor with some yeast and herbs, funky hint. Drinkable but not too exciting.

Can shared at a tasting, thanks Thomas! Hazy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma of fruity esters, citrus, spices and tropical fruits. Sweetish, but too much, well attenuated, fruity , some mango and peach notes, finish is bitter. Light medium bodied, dry finish.

Can sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks zvsn. Hazy golden, white head. Fruitiness, yeast, flowers, a bit spicy, a bit of hops, sweetish, a bit of alcohol.

Bitter and starchy aroma. Clear pale orange, brief head. Starchy taste, harsh and biting, metallic and with vitamin tablets. Light palate, gentle carbonation. Bitter drying finish. Rough brew, alcohol not even hidden. Poor attempt at a belgian-influenced style.

Tap at TCBW. Hazy yellow beer, white head. Nose is citric, fruity, peach, lychee. Flavor is lychee, lemons, lemon peel, hops, malts. I guess it’s kinda tripely.
