bastarda (506) - Freiburg, GERMANY - MAR 31, 2017
kindly shared by impuritylaw, thanks a lot. Long since I last had a beer of this great brewery. Aromas of forest floor with a tiny bitter licorice pastille lurking there somewhere. Complexity in taste, half-rotten juicy apple with edges of chili with the licorice becoming majoram in retronasal aftertaste. Good.

Tart dry fruit. A hint of sweet. A good amount of funk. Hazy light orange gold with a bright white foamy head. Slow fading and leaving a good amount of residue on the glass. Smooth. Dry. Tart. Citrusy. Crisp bitter/sour finish.

Maakun (6221) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 28, 2017
75cl bottle shared at home. Slight hazy golden with big white head that leaves a small ring of bubbles. White grapes, champagne, light yoghurt, gooseberries, apricot, light grass and herbs. There’s light toffee and fudge, raw grains, soft funk too. It’s quite complex with malts, grapes and weird lactic notes being the predominant aromas. Medium sour and sweet. Medium bodied with good amount of slightly fizzy carbonation. Good.

Bawelt (874) - Lyon, FRANCE - JAN 24, 2017
Le bouquet est parfait : du raisin frais, un côté cidre, des fruits rouges (fraise framboise), un côté abricot sec. En bouche : assez légère, plutôt pomme, léger abricot. Des notes plus vertes de paille.

Rask0lnikov (1380) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 15, 2017
750ml bottle st One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Pours golden yellow colour. High white head which soon goes smaller but stays. Hints of sweet white grapes, norws of white wine, earthy notes, some spicy notes in the aroma. White grapes, notes of white wine, earthy notes, hints of grass or hay, citrussy notes in the taste. Really refreshing, complex finish. Notes of white wine in the aftertaste. One of the best saisons (or to be more precise the interpretation of the farmhouse) I ever had. Really enjoyable brew.

3.9
The Etruscan (704) - Tuscany, ITALY - JAN 14, 2017
Cloudy deep golden colour. White weak head. Aroma is malty, fruity with apple, pear and plumes notes, slightly sour. Flavor is moderately malty with sour and fruity (pear and apple) and light vinous tones, ending in a moderately fruity and sour finish. Medium bodied.
