Bottled. Hazy brown colour, minor white head. Strong alcohol, fruit and plum in the aroma. Flavour is alcoholic and plummy with hints of pepper and some other spices. Interesting beer, which has clear strong hints of alcohol, but not disturbing at all.

Pours a clear and brown beer with no head. The aroma is malt, alcohol and notes of tart. The flavor follows the nose with additional fruit, acetone and basement. The palate is dry with alcoholwarmth. Overall a good beer.

Bottle shared by moejuck, I think. Pours a dark amber color with a thin beige colored head. Aroma is oak, alcohol, vineous. Flavor is blast of alcohol reminiscient of grappa, vineous, oak, spice. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finished super hot. Decent stuff if you can get past the alcohol, definitely gets in the way of enjoying this one. Not good.

July ’06. Reddish with white film for head. Aroma has a huge sour kick with all kinds of vinous dark fruit. Residuel sugar/bourbon like background. Flavor has a nice sourness up front. Through the middle and finish though, just too muddled. All kinds of dark fruit and buttery bourbon like background. Residuel sugars near the finish. Overall just a bit too much for me.
