6/16/12. Bottle at the Cajun Sourfest. Clear amber pour with a small head. Funky aroma with a bit of alcohol, cherry, and leather. Big flavor with lots of cherry and a bit of funkiness. Also some lingering bitterness. Nice. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Pours a flat murky rusty brown... Aromas are of funky mossy oak, sour cherries, tart apple cider all wrapped into a slighty sweet maltiness. The flavors are spot on with the nose but a complex vinous touch of fruity acidity plays well with the sour funky flavors. bhensonb (15083) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 5, 2012
Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours hazy dark ruddy-orange amber with a few whiteish bubbles. Aromas of oak and light pitted fruits. Underlying vinosity. Med body. Flavor is tart, oaky and has a fair amount of light pitted fruit arguably accompanied by citrus. Orange even. Some of that fruit may actually be red berry. Certainly some red wine comes forth. And it shows sour. Heat is hardly noticeable. Finishes deliciously fruity, oaky, sour and astringent. All quite mellow.

Flavor is average sweet malt, faint hops, and heavy sour esters; sweet, fruit and malt finish. Medium body and warmth with low carbonation.

Bottle. Pours clear tawny with a medium, frothy off-white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is cherry, plum, and raspberry with light acetic character, light malt, earthy and barnyard notes. Flavor is sour and tart berry fruits, light malt, hops, and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium-full body, medium warmth, and light carbonation. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 21, 2012
[4133-20111119] 12.68floz bottle (incorrect). Light beef malt aroma. Slightly hazy, red amber body with a quick foamy white head and some thin lacing. Sweet boozy malt flavour has an overpowering roasty caramel malt throughout. Medium-full body. Interesting but something off in it that I don’t like. (7/3/5/3/14) 3.2

Bottle from Monument Liquor. Pours amber with a modest beige head and a sour fruit aroma. There is a very sour malt falvor with something that tastes like cinnamon and a very dry acidic finish. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 11, 2011
2011-11-19. Lightly hazy dark amber-red body with a small beige head and film. 3+ Flavour is funny, sort of cherry stem/leaf notes, modest cherry flavour, modest sourness throughout, modest alcohol grows as you go. Mild aroma, sour cherry and cherry pits. 6+ Average plus palate. Meh, not loving it. Bottle from Premier Gourmet, shared at Rudolf’s Sourfest 2011
