Bottled. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is sour wood, some spices, quite acidic as well. Flavour is acidic wood, some herbs, mild alcohol as well as some grassy notes. Mild fruityness as well. Also a slight interesting very sweet peak in the middle of the sour/tart/acidic notes.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy copper colour, minimal head. Restrained citric tartness in the nose, but the acidity gets more pungent as it goes. Dryish and surprisingly light for an 11% beer. Citric, woody and funky. Oaky and intense. Another great BFM beer, yet not my favourite from them. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2010

Cloudy dark amber color (although the bottle rested one year with no shaking); the low carbonation allows for a small head. The aroma is mild, more harmonious than the ASBC 2007 tasted side-to-side, with some gentle sourness, wood, nice red fruits (even some raspberries), and a light dusty character. The body is quite lean; the mouthfeel is soft and quite dry; there is a good blend of caramel, tart character, lemony accents, light vinous touch; the acidity is well controlled too, and the alcohol is not evident. Excellent.
Bottle. Pours dark brown. Nose/taste of toffee, caramel, tart dark fruit, wild yeast and cherry vinegar. Moderate tartness. Finishes slightly tart and woody. Medium body.
