Draught at Watering Hole 7/4/8/4/16. Big sour nose with yogurt, cherry, funk, nice dark amber to maroon color. Soft body, flavors of yogurt, cherry, some chocolate, light sourness but tart fruit, lots of it. Soft, oily palate. Daon’t taste the alcohol at all. Great.

Pours a clear deep, dark ruby with just a thin wispy head.
Cherries are very prominent in the aroma along with some funkiness and a little bit of wood.
More cherry and dark fruit in the flavor along with a healthy dose of alcohol and some funk. Hints of molassas and brown sugar along with a moderate tartness leading to a slightly sticky finish.
Overall, an interesting but pretty heavy beer. Not one I would enjoy very often but I’m glad I got to try it.

Tap at spuyten duyvil.. Pour is a deep Indian red with a thin collar of white head.. Moderate lacing. Smell is cherry, plum, slight vinous, and light vinegar. Taste is sweet cherry, plum.. Tart with a dry vinous finish.. Bite very similar to a Sauvignon blanc.. Light crisp mouthfeel.. Very well done and refreshing.
