Red color with little foam. The smell is sourish with bread notes. The taste is thick, sour, oily vinegar like and has a super liquid breadish sourness. They aftertaste is sour and bread like. jkwood04 (5463) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 22, 2015
750ml bottle in a mason jar. Pours amber/red with an off-white head. Aroma of sourness/funkiness, some dark fruits, oak and light notes of vanilla, some notes of caramel and light sweetness from the malts. An incredible balance of the sour and oak and dark fruits/malts. Average texture. A great beer. anstei (2510) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - JUL 20, 2015
37,5cl bottle from Erzbierschof. A classic among Swiss craft beers, and well earned at that. Its sourness is a challenge to the newcomer, but it is not out of bounds and actually well harmonized with everything else this beer has to offer. One of the best beers for a hot summer day. Better taste, buy worse nose than the 2013. SinH4 (6121) - Garching b. M?nchen, GERMANY - JUL 20, 2015
Tasted a few times. This was my first SBC ever. Amber color with white ring. Most recent tasting July 20, 2015. More fresh fruits than old sweet fruits than the 2013. Good sourness and good compexity, great how it’s made together.
