The aroma is weak slight fruit. The appearance is as if it was root beer with a thin head. The taste is of wine or grape juice. So strange taste but loved it. Easy to drink over all I liked it.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a small, creamy beige film head. Aroma has grapes, grapefruit, malts, cherries, a hint of chocolate. Medium to low carbonation, fine dry and quite oily mouthfeel. Flavour has cherries, malts, Brett, good tartness, tannins, cherries, soft marzipan. Oak. Absolutely lovely.

750ml bottle served in a snifter glass. 2012 Edition enjoyed with friends @PiBar - Lausanne. A: Pours a light and bit fuzzy amber color forming a small yellow bubbled head with small retention and only few spotty lacings left in the glass. S: Strong notes of sweet grains, wood, grapes, wild yeasts. Light tartness. Notes of vinegar. T: Slightly sweet upfront. Fruity and woody. Notes of sweet malts, dark fruits, mainly grapes. Wild Lambic-like yeasts. In overall, a slightly sweet and sour taste (not aggressive). Light hops bitterness which makes it a perfect bitter-tart combination. M: Medium molasses body. Low carbonation. Fruity and tart aftertaste O: Excellent drinkability. Perfect beer. Reminded me a lot a Flanders Red Ale. Close to the 2011 Edition. Swiss masterpiece

Drukket på dags hyttetur. Disig mørk rød farge. Nesten uten skum. Lavt karbonert. Smaker kirsebærstein, syre, sitrus og noe malt. Svæært God indeed

Bottle.
Glass: Weyerbacher tulip.
Appearance: Hazy amber to ruby body with a thin head that doesn’t really rise at all. Just some foamy bubbles up top with a light tan hue.
Aroma: A bit acetic, a bit sour cherry, a bit sweet caramel, and some sweet cotton candy vibes here. Aroma is rather big and enticing, but not as bright as I remember it.
Taste: Mildly sour intro with some cherry sweetness, caramel is noted as well. Finish is a bit acetic with a pickle brine presence. Semi-sweet like cherry vinegar. A bit out of balance, picking up hints of acetone too. Worth drinking now, in a year? Probably not.
Palate: Medium bodied, mildly carbonated.
Overall: I’m not sure if this is a product of poor aging conditions or not, but so far this seems much better fresh. Still good, but I wouldn’t let it go longer.

Poured from a 375ml bottle, thanks to Bryan. There are notes of cherries, light toffee, hint of cocoa, light vinegar, a touch of leather, great balance between the sourness and maltiness.

750ml bottle from Andersons on Bent Tree. Deep amber red pour with thin white ring of retention. Aroma are dry, vinegar, apple, berry, sherry, wood. Tastes are wood, berry, vinegar also. Sweet-tart, cherry, raspberry, root beer vibe, red wine, tobacco. Acidic. Moderately tart funky dry finish. Alcohol completely covered, no heat. Awesome, crazy drinkable. Wish it wasn’t so expensive.
