Shared bottle at Craft., from State Line Turbid ruby pour with minimal head. Nose is vinous fruit, earthy lactic tartness. Tastes dense on the palate, complex, with notes of layered vinous fruit, fig, tannins, earthy lactic tartness, and a flavor like a cross between New Glarus Raspberry Tart and a Cantillon offering. Outstanding!

andrepintado (3612) - Lisbon, PORTUGAL - MAR 14, 2015
On tap at Biercab, Barcelona. Color is dark red brown. Taste is high sour. Aroma is woody, cherry.

Draft at Dutch’s in later 2013 from notes. Pours a hazy, orange amber color with a small, bubbly off-white head. The aroma has sweet caramel, tart and sour cherry, berries, oak and vinegar. The flavor brings more of the same tart cherry fruits, spices, sweet caramel malts, oak, vinegar and alcohol with a mild vinous note. Hides the abv pretty well though it is warming.

Diablokev (181) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - JAN 18, 2015
The aroma is weak slight fruit. The appearance is as if it was root beer with a thin head. The taste is of wine or grape juice. So strange taste but loved it. Easy to drink over all I liked it.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a small, creamy beige film head. Aroma has grapes, grapefruit, malts, cherries, a hint of chocolate. Medium to low carbonation, fine dry and quite oily mouthfeel. Flavour has cherries, malts, Brett, good tartness, tannins, cherries, soft marzipan. Oak. Absolutely lovely.

eduardovl (1469) - SWITZERLAND - NOV 13, 2014
750ml bottle served in a snifter glass. 2012 Edition enjoyed with friends @PiBar - Lausanne. A: Pours a light and bit fuzzy amber color forming a small yellow bubbled head with small retention and only few spotty lacings left in the glass. S: Strong notes of sweet grains, wood, grapes, wild yeasts. Light tartness. Notes of vinegar. T: Slightly sweet upfront. Fruity and woody. Notes of sweet malts, dark fruits, mainly grapes. Wild Lambic-like yeasts. In overall, a slightly sweet and sour taste (not aggressive). Light hops bitterness which makes it a perfect bitter-tart combination. M: Medium molasses body. Low carbonation. Fruity and tart aftertaste O: Excellent drinkability. Perfect beer. Reminded me a lot a Flanders Red Ale. Close to the 2011 Edition. Swiss masterpiece
