Flaske 0,75l på Den Gode Nabo i Trondheim i hyggelig selskap med Elsa & Kjersti 26 Okt 13. Her gikk jeg i baret: Den ble opplyst å være en Biere de Garde - men viste seg å være en Sour som ikke passet til den utmerkete maten. Jeg led den “skjebne” å måtte drikke den alene, men det var i grunnen en fornøyelse. Mørkebrun. Nesten ikke skum. Syrlig fruktaroma. Smaken er bringebær & kirsebær. Tørr syrlig ettersmak. Pours golden with an amber hue. Smells sour immediately. This was a friend's who had chilled the bottle. We let it sit for a few minutes before partaking. Exceptional. Masks the 11% with ease. pours clear bright ruby with a very nice small white cap showing some retention and lacing. balsamic vinegar - fairly present acetic, sweet nutty-fruity-caramel maltiness, berry-like fruitiness, slightly perfumey esters, peppery, gently woody - some vanilla tones - nice barrel use. moderate carbonation, medium body - oily and a bit sticky, lightly acetic, astringent, sweetish and grassy-spicy finish. not overly complex, but tasty with a nice barrel-ageing. gunnfryd (15287) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 5, 2014
