COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

330ml bottle from Drinks of the World, Basel (5.20 CHF):
Quite lively & spicy with strong carbonation but still balanced & easy to drink. It was a beer that grew on me the more I had of it & it seemed refreshing in places with the citrus balancing the pale malts & spice whilst adding some to the complexity; certainly one of the nicer spiced beers I’ve tried.

Smell of fruity yeast esters, banana, light malts, spices. Light sweet, dry, light malts, super fruity. Moderate bitter finish. Comparing with other beers from BFM this one stands out as one dimentional and boring

had on draft in nola .. . pepper and sage .. skanky .. . mouth is lively .. great foam .. . different kind of beer, would do well with a thanksgiving meal .. . . We drilled a hole in the floor so he could touch people’s feet when they walked by and have that human contact, and so we could shove raw ground beef down there (his favorite food). Anyways, his eye fell out and got infected.

On draught at Au bon coin, Nernier. Golden-orange, hazy, with a decent amount of white head. Good amount of visible carbonation. Vanilla, melon and sweet herbs in the aroma. Very gentle sweet taste, finishing on a bittersweet note. Thinnish body but nicely carbonated.

Burnt orange colored body topped by a slightly off-white 1" thick head. A medley of aromas pours off the glass: sour notes, skunkiness, muenster cheese, coriander, along with a mysterious, yet still familiar, The body is comprised of an array of herbs (such as bog myrtle, rosemary, thyme), and more reminiscent of a Gruit. A lot going on within this beer. Herbal, sour, and funky.
