COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Light hazy golden color with a white head. Some lacing. Mild acidic, malty, some wheat and herbal aroma. Medium body. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation. Wheat, malty, yeast, herbal and fruity. Seemed a bit unbalanced. Some weird acidic notes.

On tap at Tipi Bar Siviez, Switzerland. The only real craft beer bar on 4 Vallees ski area. There’s many bar/restauran at the slopes having Heineken, Cardinal, Erdinger, etc. but only here I’ve managed to find BFM beers. So I was pilgrim here every day. La Cuivree, La Salamandre and La Torpille available at the time. Cloudy yellow coloured, small white head, wheaty coriander nose. Mild malty, wheaty, spicy and light fruity with notes of coriander and orange peel. Mild bitterish and pleasant spicy finish. Nice one.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2017 Bottle in Geneva courtesy of Thiru. Cloudy whiteish colour. Quite full bodied and relatively dry and bitter for a blanche, some nice restrained spices, quenching and moreish. I’m not really a huge fan of Belgian-style witbier, but this one actually wasn’t bad.

Re-rate, September 2017. Deep orange yellow colour. Quite low carbonation. Interesting this, I guess the bière de garde comment on the label gives a pointer as to what they are trying to do here - this definitely has more depth than a common blanche, nice sweet and yet grainy malt, restrained esters, almost tart but not quite, spicy, low bitterness. Carbonation in this bottle was a bit low though, even for an Englishman. I found it quite enjoyable, different, would be great with food,

Bière blanche bue en bouteille. Bon goût laissé en bouche, et très bonne couleur. J'espérais mieux du goût que j'ai trouvé "léger" (trop d'eau)

Bottle 0,33l. Pours hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of malt, wheat, coriander and orange. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long orange and coriander finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily. Light carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Jaune pâle assez voile. Mousse blanche peu persistante. Quelques dépôts.
Bien axée sur le blé et levures. Houblonnage herbeux. Poivrée. Pointe d’acidité perceptible.
En bouche pareil avec un sucré banane. Petite acidité. Levures et blé évidemment assez présents. Petite amertume herbeuse bien agréable. Bonne carbonatation.
Blanche sur les fondamentaux bien sympa.

Drank from a bottle. Fresh and a bit fruity. The beer looks hazy, and really good, in the glass.

A fruity and a bit yeasty witbeer, that becomes a bit boring after a few sips. Nevertheless a very solid beer.

Bue à la pression. Blanche classique aux arômes de banane. Belle rondeur mais rien d’exceptionnel.
