Was not expecting a lovely little sour when I saw the Tarry Suchong on the label. Mild smoke/tea on the nose with a light brown/amber appearance. Sour forward taste with a hint of the earthy tea following. Nice.
(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Original, Brussels, 20 May 2017) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, red fruit, hints of smoke and crisp-bread. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, red fruit, smoke, hints of tar, rye bread and a gentle bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a gentle smoke character. Quite nice. Gurthnar (5816) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 18, 2017
Bottle at a tasting. The beer is overall complex, but rather subtle, soft, delicate. Smokiness is barely noticeable, caramelly malty sweetness is moderate. Some clove present. Good and drinkable, interesting as well, but could use more complexity IMO. Cuso (8616) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 18, 2017
Bottle kindly shared by Gurthnar, many thanks. Hazy amber color with small white head. Light smoke, malt in aroma. Taste, light smokiness, malt, light sourness in finish. fajry (2042) - SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 18, 2017

Shared 11.2 oz. bottle. Hazy brown-amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, tea, and smoke. Taste is malt, caramel, smoke, bread and tea with a hint of fruitiness. Okay. darbeer75 (887) - Round Rock, Texas, USA - OCT 6, 2016
Aroma: malty and lightly smoky; Appearance: hazy amber pour with lots of particulates suspended; Taste: follows nose; smokiness almost too much, but seems okay; Palate medium-heavy body with long, sweet finish; Overall: better than expected but still not a preferred style. Would not get again.
