Murky brown amber with a thin head. Nose is interesting, coffee-ish and grainy. Soy sauce for sure. Grainy and toasty with some soy sauce and grain. Medium body.

375ml swing top bottle from Das Alpenhaus. Dark amber, murky, huge rocky head. Bottle opens with a pop and a gush. A bit if sediment too. Aroma is initially tart, grainy , clove, bubblegum. Taste takes a turn towards sour, then sweetish weizen Flavors.

rougeau13 (3276) - Richmond, Texas, USA - APR 17, 2016
Bottle from Whole Foods in Katy. Muddy brownish with an off-white head. Aroma of bananas and general fruitiness, yeasty phenols, toast, and a hint of coffee. Taste is toasty, phenolic, and bitter. Medium bodied and smooth.

chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 8, 2015
Large 750 ml bottle from Tiger Mart. Dark red amber body with a decent head. Light to moderate funk over an amber ale. Medium body with light carbonation.

Christpuncher (3215) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 13, 2015
Interesting take on an iPa. Very sour and hoppy. Pours light yellow in color with a thick white head. Sour finish. Had a draft at fountainhead. Okay. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted during Nepenthia. Bottle. Hazy orange amber color. Thin white head. Some dots of lace. Pale particles in the body. Interesting taste... Some tartness. Moderate bitter, light sweet, dry finish. Toasty, some bready wheat, spice, paper. Little musty in the nose. Wood. Medium-plus body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Interesting beer, but seems a little off.

Draft. Dark amber with a big gushing off white head. Very earthy with some wheat notes. A little bitter. Not great.

TEJA (3346) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 8, 2015
Bottle at omhper’s tasting 130817. Lasting light brown head that has big bubbles. Clowdy orange color. Strange aroma from forrest mushrooms and a bit of lactic acidity? The acid also present in the taste in a blend with light roasted malts. Big sparkle and large bitterness for a weissen / acidic beer.

Butters (4062) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 30, 2015
Murky dull amber pour with soapy offwhite head. Smells pleasantly of dark cherries and floral hops. Sour/tartness is faint, but the funky/barnyardy character is quite strong on the flavor. Tastes a bit ’dusty’ and chloraseptic. Not bad, but I’d much rather be drinking a bon chien.

crossovert (14128) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 14, 2015
Draft. Enjoyed in the accompaniment of Jerome. Hazed golden amber beer. The Sorachi Ace hops are prevalent, large longrass notes, slight brettiness, a nice hoppy and funky wheat beer, delicious.

GenDV138 (7828) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - MAR 3, 2015
4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey. Brown with beige head. Aromas of light wheat, caramel, toffee. Tastes of caramel, toffee, citrus, herbs. Medium-light body with a dry finish.
