COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled. Golden colour, no head. Rather flat. Aroma is wheat, fruits, earth and mild herbal notes. Flavour is wheat, spice and mild spices and earth. It would be better if it had carbonation.

Bottled. Thanks Marsiblursi Cloudy golden colour with steady head. White pain dominates the aroma, after is flowers, lavender and a medicinal phenolic touch plus a touch of oranges. The beer is sticky and overwhelming, not nice nor elegant. It’s heavy and too much. That paint again, along with bitter almonds. Medium bodied with disturbing bitterness and a tiresome sweetness.

(Bottle, thanks mybestfriend) Pours hazy yellow with eggshell white head. The aroma is of wall paint, wet paper, wheat, incense, summer meadow, subtle spicy, medical, bitter almond, soap and light sweet orange citric. The flavour is medium sweet, light to medium bitter (not only from the hops) and light acidic. Wheat, flowers, oranges, light spicy, soap and incense. The mouthfeel is light tart and light to medium carbonated. Bit off-tasting. Wheat, spices and light oranges in the finish. Medium boded.

0.75 l bottle (as Nr. 209 Hvede 6.7 %) from Systembolaget. Hazy yellow orange color. The aromas of herbal orange, pepper, clove, coriander, bread, some yeastiness and hint glue. Orangey, lemony, peppery and clovey flavor with tart fruitiness. Oily yeasty mouthfeel, lots of yeast sediment in the bottle. Some nice strong wit flavors, but also, some npleasant glue like yeast notes.

Bottle (75 cl) from Systembolaget. Hazy golden, medium white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma with notes of corainder, oramges, and some wood. Well balnced. Very tasty but not really worth the $20 price tag.

pilsnerrogge (2998) - Finspång, SWEDEN - SEP 26, 2010
Bottle labeled as Bøgedal Nr. 209. Hvede. ABV. 6.7%:
Pours a pale brownish, hazy orange colour with a small head. Refreshing citrus aroma. Flavour is coriander, orange peels and sourish winter apples. Very refreshing, would be wonderful on a hot summer day.
