Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are citrus, hops, elderflower, caramel, fruits and malt. A little too carbonated. Quite unlike other Bøgedal brews. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 16, 2011
Bottle 75 cl. As "Bøgedal 0243". Pours a reddish amber with a frothy yet dissipating off-white head. Nose has sweet caramel and fruit. Medium body, fairly sweet caramel and yeast while the elderflower doesn’t come through until a slightly earthy/ashy touch at the end. 160411 thewolf (12798) - Kolding, DENMARK - APR 7, 2011
Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin & Tobak, Vejle.
Pours clear dark golden with ruby highlights. Lovely, big, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has good malty and fruity sweetness, mildly vinious, elderflowers, pine, grapefruit. Highish prickly carbonation, creamy and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour is lovely, dry, bitter and flowery. Light elderflowers, chocolate and caramel as base. Long, lingering floral bitterness. A return to form from Bøgedal?
