Black pour, not much head. Tangy, slightly medicinal or molasses, kinda like a dark and stormy -- implied ginger -- a little floral. Light body, hard soda impression. On tap, at the brewery. kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 29, 2017
Pours a very dark brown to black body with a minimal wispy beige head. The nose is briney and sour with a light dark malt note. The flavor is pretty interesting, sour, tart, lightly salty, with a lingering cereal grain finish. Not a ton of impact from the darker malts, the sour and salt seem to dominate pretty much. Light bodied with fine fizzy carbonation. Interesting beer.

Taster at brewpub. Pours black with a white head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Roasted malt and salt on the nose and tongue. Fairly tart as well. Interesting. chinchill (5397) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 25, 2017
From a can at the Burning Can Festival (NC).
This black gose has a durable tan head over a near black body.
Less malt than expected given the name and near black body. Lightly tart.
More fruity than malty.
Overall: a flavorful and distinct gose.

Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown color with a medium thin off-white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of tart citrus, chocolate and yeast. Light-bodied with flavors of salty citrus, cocoa and yeast. The finish is tart citrus and chocolate. Interesting beer, above average overall. HippieFee (483) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 26, 2016
Draft - Dark beer like a porter or stout but tastes nothing like that. Has a strong smoked tart flavor beer. Coats the mouth with fruity tartness.
