The ArtigianALE is a fruity dry strong bitter, characterized by floral aromas and an intense bronze color. The SuperanAle is its hoppier sister and may be lurking behind the bar.

Bottled. Copper colour, mediumsized beige head that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, mildly alcoholic along with some sweet malts, mild toffee as well as some mild herbal notes. Flavour is being fruity and floral hops along with some strong maltyness. Also some caramel, toffee, alcohol, zest as well as some spices are in there. Pleasant balance and very enjoyable beer.

Bottle @ Tel Aviv tasting. Deep hazy red-orange with scant head. Smells chewy, with spicy oily hops. Smooth but odd flavors. Is dry and drinkable, finishing brightly with a nice hop character.

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Dror. Pours a deep hazy orange with a nice creamy head, powerful aroma of pine, peach, honey and some herbs, flavor of grapefruit, lemon, malt and hops, pleasant long-lasting aftertaste, medium to full bodied, very nice

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Dror. Slightly hazy red with a white head. Floral and citric hoppy aroma with some biscuity malt. Sweetish malty flavor, somewhat bready and biscuity, with piney and grapefruity hops bitterness. Medium-bodied. Decent.

[email protected] Moeder Lambic: red/bronze/amber colour with orange head, smells like malt & grapefruit soap hops, taste is slightly watery with sweet malt, caramel, biscuit, berries, fruit & grapefruit soap hops which mainly come forward in the finish, overall a bit too watery the combination of the two sides doesnt really work, instead of combining, you get neither one really & it gets a bit bland, so-so

Copenhagen beer festival. Hazy brown beer. Softish palate. Sweetish malt and a very well balanced fruity hop. Well behaved hoppy beer.

23rd October 2010
Cloudy brown beer. Small white head. Slightly odd nose of straw and unsweet chocolate. Dry palate. Lightly spicy and with a dash of unsweet chocolate. Seamlessly blended with some fruit and bitter orange hop. Really well joined up tasty beer.

Draft @ Karhisma Birroteca (Piedimonte Matese, Caserta - Italy). Hazy and intense bronze-amber color, foam not so big but persistent lacing. Hoppy and floral aroma, some peaches and dried fruits. Medium body, fruity with a hint of caramel, soft carbonation that gives a drinkable soul. Astringent fresh grapefruit finish. Not bad indeed, maybe deserves a heavier malt character.

draft @ Moeder Lambic. cuivre, col pais blanc.

[email protected], Milan. Hazy reddish amber colour with a smallish off white head. Sweet malts and orchard fruits predominated in the nose. Flavour had similar elements, with some hoppage that started to build steadily towards the finish. Not bad, if a little on the drab side of the tracks.

Copper colour, with a white head, this is my first bi-du experience. It has a long finish. Pine, malt and caramel flavour are mixed and well balanced. Very nice. I like it so much. It is similar to an IPA.
