Buon barley wine riscaldante, dove non si sente molto l’alcoolicità...ben equilibrato e non troppo dolce

Caramel, red fruits, bit earthy and hoppy, mahogany with a thin ocher head, full body, medium carbonation, hoppy, grass, earthy, very easy to drink, dry final...too much hops for me, but a very good beer afterall.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2015 Alla spina.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Brown with a white head. The aroma is full of toffee and caramel. The flavor is similar with a lot of malt notes, as well as some alcohol and spices. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

(375ml bottle best by 1-31-12 thanks to bu11zeye) clear ruby-brown with ring of tan bubbles. Nose of raisin, quite rich dark fruit, chocolate malt, honey, smells great. Taste of caramel, light alcohol, lightly bitter, estery, wood, and a bit of dark fruit.

Bottle in Rome, purchased from Domus Birrae. Hazy deep brown beer. Short lived cream coloured head. Softish palate, semi dry. Lacto cream, subtle dark chocolate. Dry finish. An okay sweet malty beer but as with too many other Italian beers I’ve had recently - a real lack of hops.
