Growler fill from brewery- Pours hazy white golden with a two finger head that seems to stick around, nice curtain lacework. Aroma is raspberries, the fruit kind of dominates all the other flavors, but is appealing. The taste is more wheaty than the aroma led on, raspberry is strong too, mingling in with some lemon rind. Body is medium and creamy, carbonation is medium high. Overall I am surprised they released this in the middle of the winter, this would be great in the summer, very one dimensional, but very tasty, and fresh, one of the benefits of buying locally at the brewpub! riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Nose of bavarian yeast up front, banana clove. raspberry shows up as well as light lemon, wheat malt, and a little mineral. Pours hazy yellow, big white head. FLavors of bavarian yeast up front, light banana and clove, sweet raspberry extract notes, lemon, wheat malt. Finishes with bubblegummy sweetness and a touch of honey. Very well carbonated. Not overly sweet or fake. Well balanced.
