Another Central-Vietnamese beer this time served on tap. This particular offering is brewed with malt instead of rice. What I would term as being a ‘light’ beer with a rather grainy element but a rather sharp, sour, synthetic, citrus flavoured after taste. Slightly oily texture when swallowing. Not as bad as some of the cheaper Vietnamese beers, but certainly not on the same par as Huda. efeesse (680) - Praha, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAY 16, 2015
A locally produced beer, with light color, light body, not much foam, soft carbonation, served in bottle. ALLOVATE (3109) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 26, 2015

A decent pilsner style lager that, up against Huda, stands as easily the best in this province. Sparkling, medium gold with scarce carbonation and a limp, sudsy white crown. Clean, soft, leafy and grassy hop and gritty malt nose with licks of lemongrass and lime zest. Light in body with good bounce provided by the sprightly carbonation. Grassy, clean with a lengthy bitter finish. Subtle graininess mid-palate with a tickle of sour citrus down the sides of the tongue. Summed up in a few lines really. Quaffable but brain-dead, lawnmower beer that, to its credit, is refreshing after a day walking the citadel!! (33cL, Bottled 11/12/14, Thừa Thiên–Huế Province, Vietnam)
Aroma: grain malts. Appearance: clear gold, medium, frothy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: bitters continue, grain malts, lively carbonation. Overall: inoffensive Pale Lager, but completely boring, OK in the Vietnamese heat. Bottle at LA Residence, Hue. adasko (2233) - Poznan, POLAND - NOV 23, 2014
Aromat dość niezły jak na lagera, słodowy. W smaku mokry karton. Złoty kolor, kiepska piana. Brak posmaku w ustach.

330ml bottle in Hue, Vietnam. Pours clear pale yellow with sticky white head that lasts forever. Aroma is grass, corn and malts. Taste is rather bitter and metallic with a hoppy finish. Was difficult to find and I won’t be seeking it out again. gruberm (358) - - AUG 31, 2013
catching up on some old beers I had on a trip to Se Asia. A surprisingly large amount of beers available and of decent quality. not great, but passable lagers RichardGretton (4919) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2013

Western Indochine, Hue, Vietnam. Golden beer with more than a hint of amber. The aroma is very mildly dry, and the flavour is bitter with some roastedness. Overall a pretty average lager.

Wow – a properly decent beer! Not very gassy – a bit like Cobra – but very mellow, smooth and well balanced. Can taste the hops, and is malty too. deanso (10434) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - JAN 9, 2013
