50cl swing top bottle. Pours clear reddish brown colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of dark/red malt, some caramel. Taste of mild roasted malt, dark malt, hints of chocolate, nice!

On tap at the Kleinbrauer Markt, Ulm. Served dark amber, clear, and with a good head. Has a not unpleasant malty sweetness, with biscuit like hints. Finishes with a slight bitterness. Not bad

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2016 Sampled @ omhper, thanks. Almost no head, only tiny off white lace. Clear brown amber color. Light roasted malty aroma. The roasted malts give a nice mouth-feel that is well balanced by the bitterness.

Bottled, thanks Teja! Clear mahogany colour, small head. Nutty aroma with some caramel. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and hazelnuts, notes of grass. Low-medium bitterness.

3.3
McTapps (6985) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - NOV 21, 2014
Bottle from Getränke Beck in Reutlingen. The beer has got a deep hazy dark brown colour with steady head and medium body. Low carbonation. Aroma of roasted malt and slight nuts, followed by a taste of malt, barley, dark bread, roast, nuts and light biscuits. Quaffable and easy to enjoy, solid brew.

It’s copper-brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel, fruit, roasted bread and the sweet flavor has a good balance with notes of roasted bread, burnt sugar/caramel and fruits. The finish is slightly dry.

[swing top bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck] Hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a short off-white foamy layer. Light-sweet and roasty malty with a nutty touch and caramel, accompanied by a touch of vanilla and a whiff of herbal hops. Light bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Pronounced roast-malty taste, again with nutty flavours and caramel. Moderately dry and bitter roast-malty finish with light hoppy notes and a delicate malty sweetness. Good and rounded, not too sweet Dunkel [28.I.09].
