COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American Amber, Crimson Cascade pours a dark reddish copper colour with a subtle citrus aroma. Lightly dry hopped with cascade hops, it has a full body and a dry finish. On the palate, hints of caramel and a balanced bitterness, Crimson Cascade is unique and distinct.

Draft: Poured a clear amber color ale with a nice off-white foamy head. Aroma of grainy malt with light caramel malt notes with some earthy hops notes. Taste is also a mix of grainy malt notes with some earthy hops and some light bitter notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. OKish amber but I don’t really dig their malt bill.

Maybe the best creation from Bicycle yet, IMHO. A great deal of fresh and refreshing taste from such a light ABV beer. The nose has surprising notes of lemon along with honey and grain. The 37 IBUs generate a spritely fruity bitterness with lemon, orange and grapefruit elements. The honey and grain play well with the fruitiness. A hint of roasted nuts is a bonus.

Growler - Carmel, twig and some pine hops. Clearish dark copper brown with a small beige head. Nice up front bitterness, caramel, light chocolate and a light hoppy notes. Odd but OK.

On tap @ Vineyards, Ottawa. Very hazy Amber brown. Earthy caramel, soft peachy undertones, tannic and tea-like dryness in the finish.

pour @ ottawa craft beer festival. almost cloudy dark golden, red tint, with a very nice light beige cap, reviving and leaving nice lacing. doughy toasted spicy maltiness, roasted specialty malts, juicy peppery berries, medium dark roast coffee, touch of caramel, spicy oranges - undoubtedly cascadian; also melon fruitiness, clean yeast action. light carbonation, light body - oily and smooth; balanced grassy-spicy-citrusy finish. very nice hoppy amber.

Spab (4069) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 27, 2015
355 ml bottle from brewery. Pours a dark orangey brown with modest-sized cream-coloured head. Aroma is bread, sweet caramel and a mellow floral/citrusy hoppiness. Flavour has lots of gently sweet caramel, lightly toasty breadiness and a decent, but understated citric and lightly floral hop character. Carbonation on the gentler side. Nice.

Dark copper pour, medium off white head. Super earthy malts, and hops. Pine resin, slightly toasty, and nutty malts. Reminds me a lot of their ipa minus the candied citrus zest flavours. Loads of sticky pine resins, medium bitterness, and a sweet, bready, malty finish. Pretty heavy for an amber.

En fût au Earl of Sussex. Rousse. Beau collet. Légèrement caramélisé/brûlé. Grain torréfié. Un peu florale. Douce et équilibré. Bien.

Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 21, 2015
A hazed reddish amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with very nice floral and resinous hops, nice grainy notes, nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, very nice. Mini growler from the brewery.
