COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with Mosaic, El Dorado and Amarillo hops, and generously dry hopped, this IPA is big, bold and flavourful. Aromas of mango, pineapple and berries; on the palate flavours of citrus, tropical fruit and subtle pine. Medium body, dry and pouring a deepstraw colour, Trillium IPA finishes with a bitterness that lingers. Brewed and poured by proud Ontarians.

Draft: Poured a clear yellow color ale with a nice white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy and grassy hops with light floral undertones. Taste is a nice mix of floral undertones notes with some citrusy and grassy hops notes and floral undertones with light grainy malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice IPA with limited bitterness.

On tap at The Cheshire Cat. Murky golden with a foamy white head. Flavors are bread, lightly sweet cereals, passion fruit, grapefruit and resinous hops with grassy and dank notes. Medium body, moderate carbonation, smooth texture.

Drank on tap (20 oz) at Bite Burger House in Ottawa on January 3, 2017. Honey blonde, small head. Light grapefruit aroma, plaisante hoppiness. Grapefruit and pineapple herb taste, some alcohol notes, dry alcohol bitterness. Not the most original Ontario IPA I’ve hade!

From the growler. Quiet pour with modest carbonation and a citrus-pineapple aroma. The beer is orange-gold in colour with a short head and sparse lace. The taste is a rich hoppy start with grapefruit and floral notes expanding into the middle with overtones of pineapple. The finish is long with the hop notes blending with malt to provide good balance. There are some resinous notes at the very end. Good mouthfeel from start to finish. A worthwhile IPA!

Growler. Fresh hops aroma: blend of classic c-hops pine and grapefruit with new world passion fruit. Faint caramel malt background. Slightly hazy copper under a persistent, white, bubbly sheet. Sweet light caramel backbone behind pungent cannabis and passion fruit hops and an assertive bitterness. Medium body, medium carbonation, crisp.

Gluepot (691) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 17, 2016
A thin white head on a hazy, unfiltered straw body. The nose is fresh, featuring pineapple, sweet malt and berries. Bicycle hits a nice balance of astringent and soft fruity hop notes in this new IPA. Pineapple is front and centre, but mango, orange and grapefruit elements kick up the blend. The malt is sweet caramel with a biscuit density. Touches of soap and pepper are welcomed additions. The mouth feel is smooth and a little slick, but not cloying. Glad I bought a couple of halfs of this one.

A golden orange ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light citrus pulp, light tropical fruits, light floral hops, OK. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with loads of resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, white grapefruit, light mineral notes, nice. On tap at brewery.

On tap at Bowman’s Bar and Grill. Pours a fair size frothy creamy-looking white head. Has a golden appearance. Lots of thick dirty lacing. Aromas of tropical fruits, some citrusy notes as well. Flavours are fruity and citrusy, some more of the tropical notes. Has a little bit of a tangy sensation on the palate mostly in the finish. Some light toasty and bready malt hints. Lively carbonation. Slick and slight drying mouthfeel. Pretty good.

Pours cloudy straw yellow with a small white top. Aroma is big citrus and pineapple, mango hops. Taste is a great citrus, pineapple, mango hop bitterness that goes well with the biscuity malt. Extremely small medicinal finish. Bicycle has raised their hop game with this and Patio Sunshine, keep it up.
