Bottle. Hazy dark orange color with white head. Aroma is resinous, piney, toffee, spruce. Taste is toffee, resinous, peach, grapefruit. Heavily bitter finish. Silky mouthfeel, medium soft carbonation. Nice, but I can’t really detect that it’s bottom fermented.

Bottle 33cl. (very nice label) poured into a lager glass (in hotel room Bilbao 17/6/2017). Slightly unclear dark amber, tall frothy off-white head, good retention, heavy lacing; aroma pale malts, light caramel, pomelo, mango, pineapple, some pine; taste medium sweet and light to medium bitter, malty, grainy, fruity, grassy; sweetbitter aftertaste, fruity and herbal notes, ends rather abrupt; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation; smooth and well-balanced.

33cl Bottle from Domadora, Frigiliana. Hazy dark amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, melon, passionfruit, pineapple, hint of toast, caramel, leaves. Flavour is bitter, light earthy, yeasty, some toast, green, melon, pineapple, light alcoholic, firm lasting bitter finish. Medium bodied. Decent.

33 cl. bottle @ Home.
Aroma: quite intense aromas of mango, tropical fruits, grapefruit, passion fruit. Hints of toasted malts.
Appearance: deep golden-amber color with above average head thickness. Slightly off-white light yellow and creamy foam made of medium sized bubbles. Above average retention. Medium Brussels’ lacing. Very little hazyness.
Taste: low sweetness, medium bitterness, no sourness. Flavors of passion fruit, mango, grapefruit, tropical fruits, some citric overtones, maybe pine and peach too.
Palate: medium body, oily texture, above average carbonation, very long dry bitter finish of tropical fruits, mango, grapefruit, passion fruit. Some citric overtones of citrus zest. On the bitter side. Alcohol is very well hidden under all those strong flavors.
Overall: excellent appearance and very good and quite intense aromas and flavors of tropical fruits, passion fruit, mango, grapefruit, pine. Very long and dry bitter finish with the same flavors. Good beer. I liked the bottle’s label too.
