There aren’t many Dunkelweizens being made out there, but this brewery introduced me to them and I fell in love! Light, but with so much flavor and maltiness. It’s one of my favorite beers in the fall.
Pours deep, cloudy brown with a short tan head.
Aroma is dark, bready.
Taste is dark, roasted, toffee malt..
Very good. Tmoney99 (14479) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 19, 2011
Draft sample at brewpub. Poured a clear brown color with an average light brown head that was mostly lasting and produced excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted malt, caramel and dough aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
