Can (Jun 20, 2017 canning).
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy/cloudy medium to dark yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted bread/grain), lightly to moderately yeasty (basement, cobwebs), with notes of banana, clove, marshmallow.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery/creamy texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
A pretty solid rendition, if short of exciting. Nice balance of estery and phenolic aromas and pleasant malt and yeast as well. A little light bodied, but balanced well enough for easy drinking. JPDIPSO (6262) - Wauwatosa, USA - AUG 6, 2017
Hazed, deep golden color with a smaller off-white head. Sweet wheat, banana, dough and hint of cloves in the aromas. Decent smelling weiss. Light sweet start, slightly acidic. Pale malts and mild wheat. Mild spice in the finish and linger (mostly mild pepper and cloves). Good German style weizen.

From a can. Good wheat flavor, but getting a lot of odd fusel alcohol flavors and it had an overall character of a malt liquor hefeweizen. There’s something off about the temperature at which this was fermented. Maybe it’s just under-spiced. Anyway, it wasn’t a drainpour but I wasn’t impressed. Can from a trade. Nose is huge banana and light vanilla. Even fainter clove. Taste is a creamy banana/vanilla combo. Decent and a good here. Nothing mind blowing weitz15 (593) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 25, 2015
Hazy yellow pour with a thin white head. Aroma of banana, reminds me of yazoo’s hefe. Falovr is mild citrus and wheat, with a slightly carbonated and smooth finish.

Bananas and sweet honey flavor with a crisp finish. Pretty good and usually hate this type of beer. Had this as part of a sampler at Bier Bar in Indy. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 13, 2014
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of wheat, nutmeg, clove, hints of orange peel, slight biscuit/bread. Taste is a mix of orange, coriander, lemon, earth, some spice, finishing sweet, dry. Nice. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 3, 2014
2oz taster on tap, at HopCat Broad Ripple. Mildly hazy pale yellow color. Thin white head, leaving good thicker ridges of lace. Nice banana in the nose, light spice, good hefe yeast. Medium body, good full feel, smooth lightly creamy lighter carbonation. Moderate sweet taste, lightly zesty, light spiciness to the taste. A pretty solid, tasty hefeweizen. Well-done example of the style. Jaysbeers (87) - - OCT 15, 2014
Growler to glass. Cloudy golden pour. Aroma has hint of banana. Some wheats are too sweet for my taste. This one comes on right away with banana, but stops short of being too sweet. The balance holds it in check. Medium carbonation. Finishes with that same sweet lingering a bit. A good beer.

Rated on 4-09-2011 at Bier Brewery. When poured, this draft beer has a white small head with a lengthy retention, yellow body with no carbonation observed and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is wheat malt, clove and bananas. The taste is sweet, wheat malt, bananas, and some clove. This beer’s mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. This is an easy light drinking beer, but needs more flavor.
