4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
bottle from the SoBiTa 2010 - pours a cloudy dark reddish colour with a decent foam left and a correct lacework; the nose shows a solid hoppy aroma: quince m,armalade and very piney; full malt backbone and slightly sticky palate, a powerful bitterness; a light residual sweetness and a long and robust fruity and piney bitter finish - a very hoppy and wonderful brew!
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with a small, lacing off-white head. Sweet tropical juice in the nose - if not exactly overly intense. Rich, sweet, malty body, quite caramellish, somewhat peachy. Some good, late bitterness. Decent. 270916 mmargarucci (343) - Basel, SWITZERLAND - JUL 28, 2016
Pours a pale color, little foam. Aroma of earthy pine bread and hops. Taste is well balanced bready to start with strong pine bitter finish. Crisp and refreshing. Very good! Fin (11171) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2016
Bottle from Beers’n’More, Zurich, Switzerland. Consumed at home Saturday 2nd July 2016 whilst cooking large Conchiglioni Rigata pasta stuffed with small north sea brown shrimps, cream cheese and shallots. Pours a dark amber and much like most beer that I have these days it’s a murky number. It’s got a nice soft mouthfeel, the sweetness has a bitter edge with some citrus but there is quite a big caramel flurry here. It’s quite good but no big hitter. On tap at total bar, tulip glass. Color is a hazy orange with slowly disapearing white head. Nose is florally, sweet hops while taste is rather dry with no malt backbone. Good drinkable smooth IPA to me. tricksta_p (5458) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - JUN 1, 2016
