Bierkrug (2129) - - JUN 1, 2011
On tap at the brewpub in Frankfurt, Germany. Pours an Amber color, hazy and a huge solid foamy off white head. Aroma is lots of malt, some hay, and hefe. Taste starts sweet and then moves to a spicy flavor. Palate turns the taste to a pleasant smooth ending. This was the best beer of the lot. A fantastic and very well made beer. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - NOV 1, 2010
Pours clowdy golden with rich white head leaving lacing. Aroma is a bit weak, malty, yeasty, fruity and hoppy. Flavor, oops not what I was expecting of a pilsner, fullbodied sweet, yeasty, malty, fruity citric and hoppy - acidy crispy mouthfeel. Really great. Acidy sweet and crisp palate. Finishes with very nice bitter tart hoppy aftertaste. Erasmus_ro (3106) - Alabama, USA - FEB 5, 2013
Tap @ brewery 30/01/13. Pours a hazy yellowy orange with a lot of white head that leaves lacing. Couldn’t look better. Aroma is a bit weak, some grass and breadiness. The taste is hop forward: Lots of grass, even fruitiness. Lemon and lemon peel, some grapefruit and even a bit of pine. Weak aroma, but superb flavor. Crisp, light and refreshing on the tongue. Tasted at Dauth Schneider a few days later from tap, not as good there. fiulijn (20938) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 14, 2003

2011-10-19, bottle from Bier-Hannes Getränkeabholmarkt, bb 12.11 (December 2011), 7-4-6-3-14=34
Hazy blond color, with medium sized head, and apparently low carbonation. It has a nice aroma of malt, with some biscuity crispness. Dry mouthfeel; the malt flavor is not too bad but somehow anonymous, with a papery side; the bitterness is strong; the flavor is less elegant than the aroma.
Pleasant, probably one of the few interesting German beers available in bottles.
2011-10-18, draught at the brauhaus,
2003-01-14, draught at the brauhaus, as Zwickel Pils, 6-5-7-4-14=36
Cloudy blond beer, generous creamy head. Nice hop aroma, less hoppy/herbal than the other beers from the same brewery. Same impression for the taste, not too much dry, strong final, not enough hop character.
swing top bottle 500ml.-Cloudy yellow coloured, medium sized white head, yeasty nose with mild touch of fruits. Moderate malty, fruity and yeasty with flowery hoppy finish and aftertaste. Pleasant zwickel.

Golden color, light dusty, good and stable head. Smells of hay and grass. Taste is a little bit of herbs. Nice bitterness in the middle, stays quite long. Good reminiscence. A very good beer! MartinT (10014) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 28, 2011
My Bottom Line : trapped (3367) - New York, TURKEY - OCT 5, 2013
Herbal, spicy hops adorn this unfiltered Pilsener’s graceful mouthfeel, as light minerals and hay lead to sovereign wooden hop bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A tower of foam quickly depletes to a veil on the hazy golden.
-That mineral aspect was tame in this brew, but not in their Weizen, sadly.
-A touch of sulphur appears in the nose, but is never bothersome.
-This is quaffable and never boring. Exactly what I expect from a house blond.
On tap at the brewery restaurant.
Drought. Hazy yellow with off-white spongy large head, doughy aroma, fizzy, smooth and well balanced feel on palate, medium long finish. Very interesting and extremely drinkable beer. Quack-Duck (9487) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 5, 2012
bottle with thanks to pivnizub! Hazy golden colour, huge white head leaving lacework. Very grainy aroma, slightly hoppy. Light- to medium-bodied, grainy malt base with a yeasty touch and a pleasantly resiny hoppy finish with a hint of grass. culchiem (4064) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUN 30, 2015
Bottle. Hazy gold with a thin head. Aroma is hay and grain. Flavour is citrus, bread, a little spice, fresh hoppy pine finish
