Pint tasted at Craft in Calgary, AB on 12/26/2012. Colour: Medium yellow with medium spoty head. Nose: Sour candies, very ripe grain, yeast, resin. Taste: Medium sweet, medium-light bitter, medium-high sour. First sip was one of the most unique I have had in my time. I simply did not expect such an onslaught of sweet and sour in a premium lager. Like the aroma, more sour candy. Also sourdough bread. Remains constant from start to finish. There is some vanilla splashed in here and decent malting but it just doesnt make up for the abundance of sour. Unique but not worth another pint at this point.

Bottle 341ml. Pours very clear golden with medium white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of malt, grain, wort. Taste is of malt, grain, wort, sligthly bitter finish, sligth acidity. Palate; Lively carbonation, ligth body. Overall: Very easily drinkable. Not bad, but dont expect too much.

Not bad at all. Pours a bright golden amber with a nose of sweet citrus hops and light malty goodness. Not overly complex, but a tasty session brew

341ml bottle pours a pale amber color with less than a finger of white head which leaves some spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is toasted grains with some caramel and smoke. Taste is a pronounced bitterness up front mellowing to a malty sweetness with a bit of smokiness in the finish. Medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Overall, this lies somewhere between a pale ale and an amber ale, and is quite tastier than I expected, very well craft and satisfactory.

Bouteille 341ml. Couleur ambre, mousse blanche disparassant trs rapidement, peu deffervescence.
