Óriási, örökké tartó, hófehér hab, aranyló szín. Malátás, fűszeres illat. Malátás alapon fűszeres, enyhén alkoholos ízek. Testes, erősen szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Tök átlagos belga strong ale.

0,33l bottle. Cloudy yellow colour with slwly shrinking and lasting huge stiff white head. Aroma: Intense floral tones with a soft matured cheese notes. Taste: Quite sweet floral start with a soft bitter mouthfeel. Medium body with (for me) too intense lively carbonation. Long sweet/sour and dry finish.

Robe blonde, fine mousse, peu persistante. Nez sur les agrumes et le houblon, pointe de levure. Bouche à l’attaque explosive sur des notes d’agrumes, CO2 très marqué et finale courte et acidulée. Pas du tout mon style. ForlornHope (546) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2016
Bottle at home. Yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of yeast and spice, also some fruit (apricot?) but there us also a slight unpleasant tang of alcohol there. Tastes sweet to start with a sharp, harsh bitterness. More spicy yeast with the malt. Dry finish but overall the end is spoilt by an overriding alcohol backdrop. I wouldn’t bother with this beer again. ulrikolsen (576) - DENMARK - AUG 10, 2016
UPDATED: MAR 31, 2017 Bottle. Pours almost clear golden with tall white head. Aroma is hoppy with grassy and flowery citrus notes and only slightly malty. Taste is dry and hoppy with grass, flower, citrus and has light malt and banana in the end, and alcohol is well hidden behind hoppy bitterness. Rerated at 31032017. A clear, gold color with a small, white head of good retention. Aroma of pale malts, alcohol, grains, fruits, and fermentation. Taste is once again marked by pale malts, some fruits, and alcohol - generally delicate. A medium body, a slick texture, and an average carbonation. Finish is shortish, alcoholic, also smacks of fermentation. Overall the beer is bad, alcoholic, and devoid of any inherent qualities.
I remember sharing this one with Radoš, he was very happy because of the corsair on the picture. At Svijet piva (World of beer), Zagreb, a year ago. Clear yellow. Tiny to small white head. Faint aroma of sour grapes. Dry, like gemišt (wine with sparkling water). Soft carbonation, no body. More like some wine mixed with regular water. Very bad.
