Canned. Clear pale yellow, brief head. Spicy vegetabl aroma. Mid-dry with light body. Grassy and a bit salty, low bitterness. Uneventful but drinkable tropical lager. Koelschtrinker (20772) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JAN 4, 2017
Wässrig getreidiger Start. Trocken, minimal bitter, dabei laff bleibend. Kein Nachgeschmack. 6/4/6/4/9/4 Oakes (18200) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 11, 2009
Gold-green colour. Grainy, somewhat appley aroma is not terribly pleasant. Thin body. Appley, with fusels and other off flavours. Not one of the finer brews around here.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks Tom C. As Biere Larue. 4.2%. Clear yellow. Aroma of acetaldehyde and paper. Papery and slightly grainy flavor, finishes slightly drier. Really light-bodied and watery. kermis (14201) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 16, 2016
Can sampled thanks to jmgreenuk. Enjoyed directly from its container by the baggage belts at Schiphol airport, so no comments on its appearance other than that the can can a nice picture of a tiger on and that the beer (unsurprisingly) appears to have won a couple of international gold medals. Given that it’s an award winning beer, the aroma is a huge letdown with light notes of cardboard, rice and cereal. Flavour is also a little lacking, with a light sweetness and bitterness. The body is very light and it’s about as close to water as you can get. I’m failing to see how this one won those medals.. -.- Lubiere (14110) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 28, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 28, 2017 A pale golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, light Rice adjunct malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, so-so. In mouth, actually, not bad, light biscuit malt with German hops, light mineral notes, not bad. Can from store close to my hotel in Saigon, drank in Da nang. 5-3-6-3-11
