I found this beer totally bland. Served with a lemon and it’s a good thing. Otherwise would have tasted like maltly sparkling water.

A pale golden coloured beer with a slight haze and a frothy but weak white head. A distinctly cereal aroma, wheat and malt with a hint of spicy yeast and tropical fruit. Dry mouthfeel. The taste starts off zesty and spicy, but the cereal and tropical fruit flavour come through to give a somewhat flat sweet flavour to the finish. Bottle from Intermarché Salles sur Mer, Charente Maritime, France.

Very foamy beer with misty orange wheat ale like body. Strange aroma, quite off. Soapy citric, acidic even with some candy oranges and a super light malt base. Taste had more of that off flavour acidity and a umami aftertaste. Bleh, what happened here? I think (and hope) that this is a bad bottle. (33cl bottle from La Rochelle central market)
